I was going to name this post Weekly Update but then re-thinking that idea it might end up more monthly knowing how busy I get doing other things!! 
I wanted to create this post to keep you updated of all new stock we've been adding, sales and highlight some of our more popular products and categories.

Magickal Herbs - Bay Leaves

Bay Leaf (Laurus Nobilis)

The Plant - Bay leaf comes from the Sweet Bay Laurel Tree. This slow growing tree can be grown in mild climates and grows 15-20 feet tall. The leaves are a vivid green, rather stiff with a sharp point with a very distinctive odour.



Magickal Uses - Protection, Physic Powers, Healing Purification and Strength.

You can burn the dried leaves as an incense on charcoal discs to purify the home, increase physic powers, during exorcism rituals and to enhance any magickal rituals. Burn with Sandalwood to remove curses and evil spells.

Place the dried leaves beneath your pillow while you sleep to induce prophetic dreams and ensure inspiration.
Carry a bay leaf with you to ward of curses and negative energy. 

Place bay leaves in the window to protect against lightening.
Write your wishes on a bay leaf and burn to make them come true and hold a leaf in your mouth to ward of bad luck.
